Oh, I see. The tractors of the Soviet Union are only a small portion of its interesting history, and oftentimes, I wonder if the Soviet tractors are a bit more reliable than the western ones. The western tractors could focus on different features to enhance convenience and comfort to the farmer, (a given with capitalism) whereas the Soviet ones just had to work. They needed to be inexpensive, relatively reliable, plentiful, and simple to operate and repair, so in that respect, they could be considered more efficient than the Farmalls and John Deeres they were competing with a continent away. My wallpaper only represents the most popular ones you can see even today, but even they are slowly being phased out by John Deeres, CLAASes and newer Rostselmashes.

The Soviet tractors were the vehicles who helped build agriculture, which is interesting.

And thank you for giving that piece of info. It'd be nice to see them on display somewhere.
